Over the past 6+ years of working in SMEs the only learning I wish I had before is...Networking.

I learnt, Networking is the key to individual, and business success. It helps people find a new opportunities, hire people, find customer, suppliers, and in many cases buyers for business or initiatives.

I found out networking is easier when…

1. I was approachable, and happy.

2. Had a reason to initiate a conversation with my bosses, peers, and juniors.

3. Reason mentioned above was not always work related. It was anything which people would love to talk about. Movies, show, even daily soaps ;)

4. Never asked for favour, or any kind of action which only benefited me. Unless, I already helped the subject person.
